Carrie has an extensive background, having served as a U.S. diplomat from 2001 to 2025, achieving the rank equivalent to a one-star Army General. With a strong foundation in international affairs, she holds a master’s degree in international affairs from The George Washington University and a bachelor’s degree in political science from Adelphi University. She is proficient in both Portuguese and Spanish, with basic knowledge of German and Russian. Currently, Carrie is pursuing a Doctorate of Leadership Psychology at William James College, further solidifying her dedication to the field of leadership development.
In her role at ESGI Potomac Recruiting, Carrie will lead the firm’s Executive Coaching & Career Development Practice, focusing on empowering senior executives to achieve meaningful growth. Carrie has worked with Senior Executive Service officials at the Department of State and several global CEOs. She is highly regarded by her clients for her ability to guide them in reassessing and achieving their professional goals.
